FCA Community Luncheon
The goal of these community luncheons (four (4) times during the school year) is to reach out to the community with information and updates on what’s going on with Panhandle FCA, as well as provide them insight into the lives of some of our higher profile community leaders. These luncheons will function as a meeting place for what amounts to our Amarillo FCA Booster Club. These luncheons are open to the public (adults only), so anyone can join us. However, a reservation is required. We especially encourage all Panhandle FCA ministry partners to join us for these luncheons. For each meeting we plan to have an interesting speaker, from the community, that will engage our guests with news/insight from the community, from the sports world, or from the Christian world, always presented from an evangelical worldview perspective. In addition to a short ministry update, we will present our guests with various opportunities to join FCA as a ministry partner. All luncheons will typically take place on the fourth Monday of the month in the Christian Life Center of Polk Street UMC, upstairs in the Loft; with food service beginning at 11:45 AM; program and speaker starting at 12:15; to be completed no later than 12:55 PM. Cost for lunch will be $13 per person. Reservations are required.
We only ask three (3) things of you: 1) Try and find someone to join you; 2) Make a reservation no later than the Friday prior to the luncheon; and 3) Make sure and show up. We work on the honor system, not asking anyone to pay in advance, and we will have food prepared for all who make a reservation. We look forward to seeing YOU at our next luncheon! In the event your plans change, you must notify us before the day of the event, otherwise, we will expect you to pay us for lunch.
